Impact of Foreign on Education for Globalisation- MyAssignmenthelp
Question: Discuss about theImpact of Foreign on Education for Globalisation. Answer: Foreign aid is useful in the development of many countries. Aid have been mostly used in the development within the social political and majorly in the economic field of a nation. Aid is mostly given out from the superior nations to less superior nations. Moreover the aid can be donated from the independent international bodies as the World Bank and the UN. However, aid has been misused in various parts of the world. Thus making the nations contributing to such aid very reluctant to remit resources towards such nations. The paper seeks to describe how the reduction to the Australias foreign aid contributions is in the States best interest. Moreover the discussion is going to be elaborate in explaining, the benefits and negatives of aid for Papa New Guinea and Indonesia given by the Australian government. However, the article is only majoring its scope on the impact in education. Foreign aid plays a vital role in the development of a developing nation. However, it has its downs when it comes to the impacting the operations of the educational sector in a nation. Foreign aid is crucial in the development of infrastructure, (Arndt,C., et al., 2015, p 6-18). Such infrastructure is very useful in complementing the educational sector. For instance, aid given to Indonesia from Australia has been used to put up infrastructure. Such infrastructure has been used to improve the transportation and other forms of the economy which is useful in ensuring an ample educational environment for the students. Infrastructure can be in form of markets put up for the Eastern Indonesian farmers, which are very instrumental in the promotion of the economy hence boosting the educational sector. Therefore, the need as to why aid from Australia should be increased. Foreign aid has been used to give professional guidance and aid. Aid has been used to give the professional aid in areas with the shortage of educational professionals (Arndt,C., et al., 2015, p 6-18). For instance, the Australian government has been offering scholarships in Indonesia. Such scholarships has been used to give professional training to the scholars in the nation. Such scholarships have been very important in the promotion of professionalism to the teaching professionals within a nation, (Campbell C., and Proctor, H., 2014). As such, making it among the reasons as to why the Australian aid is important. On the other side, the aid has been very detrimental in ensuring the survival of a nations liberality. The donor nations have been alleged to having a hand in the interference of a nations operations. For instance, the Australian government has been questioned for interfering with the operations in the Indonesia, (Packenham, R., 2015). Therefore, the education sector is checked from incorporation of certain aspects of the original system (Eichenauer,V., and Knack, 2015). Since, the implications of the aid may have an impact on the educational set up. For instance, when the implication of any form of aid has its implications on the economy, the educational sector will have to suffer. In Indonesia, it is the same case the Australian form of education is evident within their educational set up. Such influence is as a result of increasing over-reliance of a country towards the donor nation, (Brech, V., and Potrafke, N., 2014, p 61-75). Thus making it not healthy to acquire aids. In Australia, the aid they give also has impacts on the educational sector. Aid has helped increase the quality of education in Australia, (Brech, V., and Potrafke, N., 2014, p 61-75). The aid has helped the nation to improve its interactions with other nations. As such there is cultural exchange which is very important in the educational set up of the Australian government. Such interactions makes it easier for the students in the Australian schools be diverse culturally. Such diverse is as a result of the scholarships that the Australian government is offering the needy nations. Thus the reason as to why the aid should be increased. However, aid has been very detrimental to Australias education sector. Allocations for aid make life difficult for the law abiding citizens of the country, (Arndt, C., et al., 2015, p 6-18). The government has to increase the taxes within the nation so as to have the allocations so as to donate to some nations. As such, there can be economic hardship in the nation. Such hardship within the economy affects the educational sector very negatively. As such, the aid should be checked so that it does not affect the natives of the nation. In conclusion, the aid is very important to the development of a nation. In as much as both the donor nation and the receiving nations benefit from aid, proper consideration should be taken so as to ensure it has more good than bad. Thus, the purpose of the paper to discuss how aid can influence a nations set up especially in the educational sector. References. Arndt, C., Jones, S. and Tarp, F., 2015.
